*What tier or tiers did you play? We started at T6, after a week of not being able to beat nihilus, tried T5 unsuccessfully, T4 unsuccessfully, then settled at T3 for a while, we're now at T4 and beating it in 3-5 days.
*What GP is your Guild that is attempting the raid? 80mil
*What teams you did you attempt the raid with? Primarily NS as nothing else I have does anything worth counting.
*What part of the raid motivated or demotivated you to continue trying?
-Motivators: I like a challenge, I like seeing what my teams can or can't do. I'm in a 50 member guild, and am about in the bottom five for lowest GP (I'm at 1.3 mil), yet I can consistently land in the top 3 rank for the STR (T3 I could always get 1st, T4 I land somewhere in top 3) and I don't have JTR.
-Demotivators: I have more fun in less time and have a chance for better rewards doing my 5 free bronzium data cards each day than participating in this raid. (Please don't nerf bronziums now.)
I only have one team that does any good, so I have to retry for about 1-2 hours a day until I get very good RNG before I post or I lose my top spot for the entire 3-5 day raid.
We're on day 2 of our current raid, and only 10 of the 50 active members have even joined the raid. This is normal, I haven't joined this raid yet, don't know if I will. The time/reward ratio is so off kilter it taints the entire game for me. The more I think about it, the more I dislike it, which is sad because I really like phases 2 and 3 of the STR. Why do I like them? because phase 2 and 3 lets my otherwise worthless teams do something, each in a different way. Phase 1 and 4 is the exact opposite and why I dislike them so much.
This is star wars man, we want all our characters to be awesome.

The biggest demotivator, however, wasn't any of the above. The biggest demotivator for me has been when the player base creatively found ways to take on the raid, utilizing the abilities or synergies of their characters (characters that were otherwise seemingly benched and mostly worthless), only to then be told, we don't want you to win the raid this way, in fact we'll make sure all characters with this ability or anything like it is fully negated. Oh, you've also found a way to survive a few rounds past enrage? Don't worry we'll take care of that too. Thanks for helping us with our testing, again, don't worry, we'll now keep an eye on your account and if you happen to find any other ways of beating this raid that we hadn't intended (ie: don't break our JTR paywall) we'll be sure to make adjustments for that as well. *What about the raid did you enjoy? What did you dislike about the raid?
I like challenges, not paywalls. I like seeing my NS kill it in the raid, I don't like seeing all my other chars become worthless. I like being rewarded well for the time/effort I put into it (regardless of tier). I did not like it when I put all that effort into the raid and got the same rewards as someone who posted 0 damage. I like raids that bring our guild together, not tear them apart.
