Not glossing over it at all. As a matter of fact, well before this thread began, I started thinking about ways to fix this problem. I do see it as a big problem. I’ve sent a lot of suggestions in for ways to address it and will continue to do so privately, even though it has zero effect on me and my own game experience.
The rewards are wack. I get that and I’m hoping they do something for non-Heroic rewards that will both help you beat the raid faster and help you work towards moving up tiers faster.
I’ve gone over pretty much every angle and issue with the raid with CG. I’m on your side here, but I also see where complacency is hurting guilds and players.
But read my comment again. I was very worried about the effects my departure from my old guild would have. They have all been positive though, and people have stepped up and filled the void. My old guild is in a better place without me, which is awesome.
It comes down to getting everyone on the same page and working towards the known raid killers. If your guild doesn’t have the same goals as you though, you have to make a hard decision to either sacrifice your own experience and stay or chase your goals and see what you can find.
