To me (and others, it seems) it is a form of loop. He spends a long time invincible and can chain ultimates, what Rey, for instance, cant do. Rey does not charge her ultimate while her team is taking 1 damage, but kylo charges his while he is invincible. The ultimate is a special and very unique ability. It should not recharge until the one in use is finished.
he can double up on his ultimate, which can be prevented or mitigated with strategy. Rey protects her whole team, Kylo doesn't. there are many differences in their ultimates.

Correct, I never said it didn't, but they take 1 damage. Kylos team has nothing protecting them at all during his ultimate. again many differences between the 2...
It doesn't matter if you can kill all his pals if he can destroy all your team next (if your team is not already dead. Rey can't protect anything if kylo oneshot them before, no inmunity clicks). A loss in arena is a loss every way you look at it.
We can look too why Kylo hits when he enters ultimate and each turn. While Rey does nothing when he enters ultimate. You can prevent one hit from kylo using ultimate but not both while he can be totally immune to you.
Or why you can't mark Kylo but you can mark Rey.
Btw, why bother playing GAC now? Kylo players can set a full FO setup against which I'd need to break 4 setups to kill it. I can set Rey with full resistance and he can kill it with Vader. Nice. Really looking forward to playing it now.
