Sure if you have unlimited resources, but most don't. You have to pick and chose who you farm, you can't just "farm everything", the game doesn't work that way. (Granted the longer one plays the more you will be able to farm, but everyone isn't on the same timeline).
Correct everyone isn't on the same timeline, and the newest toon isn't for everyone.
