I dont think you read it cuz what you are describing (all gear equally scarce and everyone gets everything at once) is not even remotely what is being described or asked for. Again, the gear crunch was acceptable where it is before because the cap was 60 and there wasn't the variety of game modes or need for the variety of roster that there is now. Nobody is asking (or few are anyhow) for all the gear to be just given out. What most are asking for is additional ways to work for the gear. Perhaps this is where your understanding of the suggested solutions breaks down, people are asking for extra ways to farm the gear. They want to earn it, they just want to be able to earn it in more ways.
Also with the squad you listed above you will be able to contribute 1 time to the HAAT raid. Meaning you wont have any meaningful way of contributing to any phase beyond phase 3 where you are using your palp/zader. Which tells me you are being carried by your guild if they are finishing the raid. Not everyone is willing to accept that.

Bro, you only NEED five freaking toons to play. There are 103 toons in this game. If you are happy sticking with only 10 meta driven toons, then you will never have a "problem". Good for you, but the reality of this game is that just because youre content with 10 meta dictated characters on your roster, doesn't mean everyone else is doing it wrong or they don't know how to manage "scarce" resources or make decisions.
So then what is the right amount of toons for them to let us max for free?
40 ?
50 ?
60 ?
70 ?
Let's just decide on a number and tell the devs this is how much gear we need to be able to enjoy the game. They can figure out what we need and put it in two events that we do each day. One that we sim and one that we auto. Then when we all have 70 maxed gear toons and no credits and mods for them I won't hear arguing right?
