How about a gear event? Throw it in periodically with dif squad requirements. Higher tiers are more difficult, but give more gear salvage, with a chance to get occasional full pieces. Doesn't even hav...

Just wait until @Olddumper 's Arena shard matures or the meta shifts. A few strong toons works ok only up to a certain point, but as others pay to diversify their rosters or the meta shifts, he will not be able to gear up counter toons quickly enough to keep up.

I'm on an April shard. It's just a week shard. I will never have arena problems.

Untill they cull and merge servers, which in a recent post, they opened the gate to saying that's something they might do in the future "with a 2 weeks notice"...

It's on this forum somewhere. Look up "leaderboards". I was using using some hyperbole to stress my point, but what was actually said was something to the effect that "there are NO separate physical "shards" or servers, players are just grouped by leaderboards. They have no intention to cull or merge or reshuffle them at this time, but if they do at some point, they will notify the players ahead of time"

I might have too many tin foil hats on, but I swear they've already merged arena shards. I know the devs said they don't have the capability to do so (which I'm inclined to believe since they can't switch someone's time zone in-game or even account for the 1 hour daylight savings change), but twice, the normal top 50 of my arena shard is suddenly filled with a ton of new players, and guild mates of mine have reported similar instances.
