GET store unlock with LSTB was generally bandied about as the most likely release model for the Malevolence.
Regardless, Negotiator is a fantastic ship, will continue to be so when Malevolence comes out, and unlike the Separatists you have a full compliment of GR ships to outfit the fleet. If you have regrets? That's on you. But it is not a bad investment.
And just like the first pair of GET units, Hoda and Wampa, in the fullness of time, they're both worth it.
