calling it an ignorant approach is ignorant, it obviously works. I have more faith in EA to let their business flourish than in some random guy on a forum who thinks he'd do a better job.
Do you seriously think EA doesn't know this? I mean..come on man.
that said, i'm f2p for various reasons. Mainly because it's not that much more fun if i spend money compared to playing for free. Also because you can never stop spending in most freemium games, it's too expensive to whale and now i have to oppertunity to stop at any time without having buyers remorse or some weird feeling that I need to continue because i dropped 500 dollars on the game.
