Why do you think, that nearly all freemium games have the Same paying structure?
Because research has been done and this structure has proven to be the Most succesful. Even if it does Not make Sense to you it is fact.
So if you dislike such models, stop playing.
It is Nothing new by the way, you could spent the same amounts in the past for card trading games or tabletops.
