I have been comfortably sitting in the 600-900 range for era currency so I spent some money to try to push myself into the solid 900 range and now im only getting 300 era currency... this feels disgusting and makes me regret spending any money on this game at all. You need to fix your game, because this kind of business practice is unethical
They literally don’t care. They just want players to spend money. Now you’ve learned , just F2P and don’t spend money. Enjoy what you can. You’re never going to catch the Oil Princes and Rich Folks who are paying thousands daily to be number 1. Just listen to the John Williams score and do whatever fascinates you. I’m still trying to figure out how 12 people suddenly have all toons at era level 110 and only five stars. Where’d all the zebek material come from cause I’m stuck at 1 toon at 110 and there’s no zebek to be had in any mode right now.
the general theme/objective of this game is to outspend your opponent, era made this even more obvious, at first. now they cap you off after u spend so much, only can get era units so high thinking ppl will be forced to use strategy to compete w/ loaned units, only they make loaned units levels tied to your allies' GP... so whoever can convince high GP players to ally with them wins!
You chose a bad moment. We're currently stalled on progress until the next marquee is released on Tuesday. Rotta the Slug will be unlocked and there will be a new brief meta and jump in Coliseum scores as we all adjust to the presence of two more characters in the squad selection pool.
You can get a lot of mileage out of modest spending in SWGOH if you're smart about it.

Something stinks here. There is no way you're in 600 to 900 era token currency thingamabob as a F2P player and then gets worst cos you invested into units. Write what actually happened, am not buying your story.
I honestly don't care if you believe me or not. Try it if you're so convinced I'm a liar. I didn't say I was free to play. I had bought the pass for teva and ward a couple weeks ago. The only reason i spent more was because i missed the beginning of the era and i wanted r5 and zeb at 5 stars. The point I was making was that I spent MORE money and got worse. My team ranked higher with a 4 star teva and ward than it does with 5 stars
Update. I did get 600 today, but I was rank 86 so it was BARELY enough to get 600. Before, I was sitting in the 50-70 ranks and since I've spent money I was rank 110 yesterday and 86 today
It's a paywall and yes, a lot of players feel disrespected and no longer valued by CG as customers since launching this new Era system last Nov. Choose not to pay. Easiest solution. You saw your investment was marginalized, now learn from it and don't do it again. Just enjoy the game at a leisurely pace and don't keep up with the Jones'. Admire the game for the art, the John Williams scores and the Wilhelm Scream when toons derez from the game grid.
You're definitely giving off a vibe that you're entitled to certain reward cos you're a paying player, well you're not entitled to anything. I get 300 a day and I'm a paying player, so please chill out.
You realize that other people in your coliseum shard are making purchases, improvements, and using different strategies as well, right?
I'd be pretty annoyed too. Spending money should feel like it helps your progress, not sets you back. Hopefully it's a balancing issue that the developers can fix because that experience would frustrate a lot of players.
