In conquest I noticed that during a battle my damage really ramps up (my padme hit in the beginning of the battle for 90k damage and at the end for 300k+. I looked at their kits but I can't find anyth...

Padme gives courage(?) when her allies have protection up. Many stacks of courage = massive damage when a toon hits.
