STH Taunting through Shock

So I have been noticing through several matches that when I shock STH, he will still throw up his taunt, which should be useless. However, when I hit STH he still grants turn meter to his allies even ...

you don't "shock" the ability, you only shock the character, so he (and only he) is immune to buff and TM gains.

He has to have the taunt active for the 20% turn meter gain, they go hand in hand. His taunt TM gain stacks with his unique if it procs. So. The only TM gain should be his unique of he has shocked applied. This is to my understanding and seeing how it works most often.

His unique doesn't grant tm, only takes it from enemies. It's the taunt ability.
