In a mode that already takes time why is PvP the answer? why not take those materials and toss them into Squad arena that you would gain. that would really help everyone grow since then it is not tied to spending money on the new ERA. if you care about it as claimed toss it to SA not into a new money kept ERA system to really help the lower accounts that need it more than the whales.

What are you gaining from squad arena as a new account. Not a darn thing is the correct answer. As a new account you're expected to engage with the coliseum because they want to sunset the legacy content to force players to re-spend money to play the game. They don't care about anything else.
