I wouldn't care if it was another useless character if it wasn't one they already did and/or was one that wasn't needed to get one of the best characters an early player can get. Honestly, Leia or old Ben would have been nice and I have those. If its an empire character coming, snow death shore storm trooper would have been good choices too or Saxon or stark or IPD or ISC. It feels lazy on their part. Like the May the 4th packs in July or AB challenge tier 3 with 5th he said rewards as 2. I'm all for throwing new players a bone. Make it a more use one then like Traya or Raid Han or GK or JKA, all of which have been done. There's a bunch of characters that unlock at 3 stars. Pick one of those that haven't been done and it might get new players to go after that one early. IF its a new Han, and I agree we probably don't need another, Young Han's not been done. Not the best scoundrel but scoundrels are important for early players. I would say we've not had CHolo either but we all know that'll never happen this close to the release of JKL.
