Surprise Marquee?
I'd be happy with one right about 2 hrs from now 😉 It would certainly be better than other 'surprise mechanics' I've been hearing about lately...

If your guild is choosing to do geo Tb, no question- you should be farming GBA.
Geos are a requirement, a great team, and brings you WAT. Wat will be the game changer of the year. Helps in every mode of the game. He is the most important toon rn.
Lots of teams are great, just like the next meta will be (which should be coming in about a month or so)
Wat will be good, I'll give you that. And while I do hate Geos they are next on my farm list because I want to try wat on a few teams I'm thinking he will make great. But meta, idk. That's typically where most of my resources go here, because that's fun for me.
I think we have a bit longer for a new meta. They just haven't really set a paywall up for a new journey character. With revan and darth revan there were several marque releases and it came shortly after they were farmable. Same with the cls meta.
With traya it was a raid reward so more gradual. I suppose that is possible with wat as a tb reward but I don't see him being meta changing.
Other options are a new legendary. Possibly one requiring clones. But I doubt that since in the past legendaries requiring older factions have been non meta changing characters. Eg... Chewie, 3po, and padme. None of them were meta.
So for another journey type character, they need to first release the marquee req. Then wait for the 6 to 8 weeks before they are farmable. Then a few weeks to panic farm them. So two months minimum. Probably take at least that long to unlock wat as well for most people.
Right now there aren't a lot of hints of anything big coming. It is possible that a new meta comes out of nowhere though. So for now I'm back in hoarding mode to be ready for anything.
