It has been made evil by CG because they wanted it being implemented that way, reddit talk. Again CG screwed up with taking an often asked feature and implementing it in the worst possible way ever. I hope the sithstorm they inflamed will make them choke, how in the galaxy are they able to mess things up that badly in a constant way like this..
