SWGOH Glossary

Let's start with SWGOH = Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes (duh) :) There is a lot of acronyms, abbreviations and other terms that people who have been playing this game or others like it take for granted...

AoE = Area of Effect. A skill that affects multiple opponents

DPS = Damage per Second, while not technically a stat for this game, can be used to describe characters with high damage capabilities

GW / GCW = Galactic (Civil) War, a game mode that unlocks at level 40

Mats = Materials, the various pieces of equipment you use to craft gear

HP = Hit Points

7* = 7 Stars, the maximum level a character can be promoted to

ign = in game name

Glass cannon = easy to kill but deals high damage

Turtle team = team of healers/tanks w/ no real dps's
