- aglardae9 years agoRising RookieWhat disappoints me the most is that this raid feels like the arena. It's a speed race. The NPCs play at an insane speed and I am tired to have to focus on speed to keep up when I develop my characters.
The raid is also unfair. When the NPcs hit you under Expose effect they do huge damage on you where this has been nerfed a lot on us since Rancor raid.
I spent more than a month to work on the Ugnaught when I heard about that raid. He is not maxed up yet on his gear because the drop rate in purple items has gone really low now and it takes days or week to equip a character. Same for mods. But seriously, on his special, my character has a power of 3500 and when he tosses a grenade on droids it does only like 1500, 2000 damage!!! Seriously?? He also barely dodges when he has more chance to do that than a toon to assist Captain Phasma on the arena and it almost happens all the time. The RNG is so bad there.
This raid is unfair and unbalanced. No fun at all. "CloneSpikes;728386" wrote:

Somehow they will. I can only imagine........ 10000 shards to unlock a ship or 99,000 crystals to buy the millennium falcon.
I dont think so.
My guess is cheap unlock on basic ships, but crazy upgrade cost.
Easier to make people pay for a bowl if you give them a few peanuts first.
Every drug dealer knows this.
I'm sure they will have you steer the entire ship just to aim because swivels were not invented in the age of lightsabers"TheRenegade;728357" wrote:
Its been out for less than a week. Everyone is still fairly new to the raid and trying to find strategies that work. I strongly doubt anyone was able to solo the rancor raid in the first few days after its release so why would that be different here. Yes the raid is tough and no one will ever be able to solo it but we will find strong strategies that will allow us to complete it in half the time.
That is not true actually. Everyone was able to clear the rancor raid the day it was release. You just needed to aim for the lower tiers.
What raises the question again: Why there are no lower tiers? I don't see any argument that speaks against opening this content also to casual guilds? We don't have 50 active members nor do we play 24/7 - but we still enjoy this game and would also like to enjoy new content. Atm I don't see how that could happen with this new raid if it would take us weeks to finish it.- The new raid is already having a negative effect on our guild. We're far from being a top guild. We haven't been able to clear T7 Rancor yet, but we have been regularly knocking off T6 with one reset. People jumped onto the new raid but found it crazy hard to deal damage. At this point we're still not quite halfway through P1, and people are not bothering trying any longer. Only a few members are still attacking. And worse, the participation in the Rancor raid is also way down. We haven't lost members; they're just not playing the raids since the introduction of the new raid. I know I'm not particularly encouraged to play the new raid very much. Too much effort for far too little gain toward finishing it.
- As far as I see none of you have provided the mods were used. Lol mods can be the difference between 500k and 50k... And since good mods are mostly came from the shipments it is also about the spending. :)
I'm not TI haters fan club member but I can see why haters hate you. You have problem with others in tank raid while you have 15-20 extra raids in rancor as intended (guild hop, of course by the rules, I have no problem with it). You always post first this and that. If I'm right first 81 was from TI too. Despite the fact our big guy was already 81 by then and others too from other guilds. So it can be annoying and you are doing good job to increase the rage. However this whole strategy, teamwork, timing and the rest of the tale is just a tale. I don't doubt you did a great coordination during rancor and now during tank raid. But I remember we started our heroic after 3x t6 cause you wrote here you needed what a coordination. Then we realized our biggest problem was how to hold back fire to let others get on the ladder at all. And it was before we even found the right teams. Simple pure damage, brute force. Against tank you only need coordination to avoid duplicate damage. And you need the right teams with enough damage and parts to survive until you reach the required 2% per phase. Basically you need a Jedi, rebels, droid and jawa team maxed with mods or something like that. Then you can deal 2-5% per phase and your guild can clear heroic. Of course, you need to think about it, find it in the hard way but you always act like you find a solution for eternal life and you did not. It is not rocket science. You need the right teams with at least a right set of mods (you can change the mods during the raid) and you must avoid duplicate damages. That's the magic. Be nice and hate will chill. Or act like this and it shows us you like it. I did not call you out with this post, just wanted to write down these thoughts cause I really don't like if someone tries to sell me magic when there is no magic. :)"Maraxus;727817" wrote:

You guys are crazy. I just ran full maxed 41k jawa vs p3 of the heroic for 150k damage. You guys are kidding yourselves.
That is where it proves that it's not only about who buys more than others... With that same team I could do 500k damage...
So yeah there is strategy and thinking ... It's not only paying and guild hopping , at least if u want to do it clean... - This raid is slowly and boring. Really B O R I N G.

I am not saying blunt force can't do it, I'm saying smart strategies can do it too.
I'm not selling magic, I'm trying to help here making realize it's not only about the size of your wallet but also about the good organization of your team, knowing when to use which toon etc...
I am saying 50/70% collection score guild have as much a chance as 100% collection guild provided they get organized...
i don't see how this is "selling magic"
I see it more as making people realize this raid is not TOO hard and after figuring out the right teams many more guild will do it "clean" without hopping and other kind of cheats..."Maraxus;728558" wrote:

Oh and u can check the mods of my Jawa team on SWGOH.gg btw ;)- ddlooping29 years agoSeasoned Ace3 days in (or is it 4?) and my guild has managed to do about 20% of Phase 1, of the normal tier. :dizzy:
I did contribute ~100k though. Soon I'll be able to solo it. :D
I might have a shot at General Kenobi in a year time (Han Solo in maybe 6 months at best) so in the meantime why not provide lower tiers to the new raid? A bit of fun, you know. :) "ddlooping2;728593" wrote:
