Actually, this is incorrect. Our guild has 85m gp, and to get 35 stars we have a whole seven people who jam their entire rosters wherever needed as the phase is ending to secure stars. Our lesser gp requires more coordination and planning to maximize our star count. We have to squeeze every tiny bit of potential out of the entire guilds' roster, and every squad used for combat. Why? Because we have less.
