As a former software developer for over a decade, these kinds of issues are very hard to test 100%. In hindsight its obvious it should have been tested carefully, but it may look if you are not paying very close attention like everything is fine. This kind of stuff happens all the time and we shouldn't blame them for it, they will get it fixed as it should be as soon as they can.
