Some terms I've seen here I really just don't understand. "In my shard" I see used a lot with regards to the Arena. Zeta Meta Druid Also, if there is some standard character abbreviation usage?...

Arena leaderboards are often called "shards" - they're a group of a few thousand people that all started playing at about the same time.
Zeta is the highest level ability mat (green, blue, purple, Omega, and Zeta).
Meta = most effective tactic available, but really gets used to mean "what everyone else does".
Druid? Ummmm....kinda like a cleric, but nature based. Has to be true neutral and can't use metalic weapons.
