In this TW, They were a 119M guild and we were 80M. Not sure how that can be considered fair. 21 slots on defense. They burned through both fleet territories and ran through our best row like they were swiss cheese. If you need more info, I can send you both guild names. I also have screen shots of their guild name from in game search if you need to compare to help determine why this keeps happening.

Where did you get those numbers? Did you verify with in game guild search? How many placements per zone?

The TW that just finished had my 44 member 68,512,464m GP guild matched up against a 45 member guild with 118,523,149m GP. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's over 30m right?

Just to clarify, a difference greater than 30M active GP. This is the GP of the people who joined. So the in game numbers and the number of positions on defense to get a more accurate picture of the matchup.

We have not seen one over 30M, I have flagged a few posts and followed up to find that most people are using just the guild GP and are using SWGOH.GG to post here, this is not always accurate. I am just trying to get accurate information, I am not saying you should have won based on these numbers or that it is a fair matchup based on those values.

I firmly believe they are not matching on the more relevant data of what makes a good roster and this is hurting alot of guilds in the middle range where GP range is due a lot less to number of toons in the roster and more to do with how developed that roster is. I.e. - zetas, abilities, and g11/12.

This may be true and if it is it runs contrary to what @CG_RyDiggs told us they are using to match on a few month ago (see my post on the first page of this discussion for a link). It's pretty vague and seems to imply that "matching on the more relevant data of what makes a good roster" is exactly what they are trying to do.

I applaud your effort to collect more data. There certainly seems to be a problem. It's hard to tell what and how bad it is when you have more hyperbole than data.

I think we just want to identify this is an issue and something that needs to be looked into more. There is no shame in losing to a guild who has better strategy, but it is another thing when they are nearly half your GP, that is where we have the problem. We are happy to upload screen shots through here or to a dev of the difference if it will help anyone figure out why we keep get matched up like this on a regular basis. 30M difference is common with us, never have been paired lower.

Well the 30M difference this time is better then the 40M, so we have that going for us. Trending in the right direction!
