This is an absolutely awful idea and I've logged in and posted after over a year absence from the forum to share this feedback.

I hope the developers understand there's a major difference between giving an underwhelming character a bonus and completely excluding characters?

We worked hard to develop our rosters. This seems like a punishment. Please don't do this.
