I will say, that CG moving the points from this pointless "Challenge" to the coliseum itself was the better move.
Unfortunately people don’t see it. CG has built a culture where they are constantly making huge mistakes and detrimental changes so a lot of people are just perpetually angry. I’m one of them but in this case I agree, the currency lost in this event is more than made up for with the coliseum bump and the discount on LSTs.
I think the point of the poster was, they spent crystals on getting their characters up, it gives you a little EL boost from the currency from the marquee event while not doing much for ladder placement, then the one place you can get slight boost in comparison to total f2p players in terms of coliseum income, they land us an event with a farcical reward.
In fact some f2p guildies cannot even get the EL23 challenge because they're stuck at 22... needing to complete 1 challenge to get the daily for the currency to get to 23. It undeniably feels bad.
I can’t get anything because I’m at 21…
