This is the point when you have plenty of gw tokens (or don't need them) you can burn them in the shard shop and focus on other stuff in fleet store. But others have to choose now staring up toons they need (or that are useless but needed for platoon battles ^^) and the option to buy gear...

Adding gear to shard shop is not the problem removing it from fleet is as this limits the options for others

The point i'm trying to make is that fleetstore tokens are far more valuable (even without the option to buy gear) than the other shop's tokens. You have to choose either way, whether it was between gear/shards/blueprints/zeta's in the fleet store, or between shards and shardshop currency in every shop in the game.
For example, i would never buy 1mil credits for 2000 fleet store tokens, but i have bought plenty of credits for arena tokens. Like i said earlier, i don't have all the characters from the arena store 7 stars, so it's not like i couldn't do anything else with those tokens.
