The worst UI choice?

There's a lot about this game that I think I could improve. But if there's one thing more than anything that I would assign some coder 10 minutes to fix, it's this button in the top right: 

For a measly 10 era currency at a time, I have to click that stupid button 10 times or more every time I unlock a new character? 

If I have 100 Era Currency waiting for me, why can't I hit it once and have the game give me the 100 EC instead of clicking, waiting for the lag, clicking, etc. etc. etc. 

Yes, I know that this isn't nearly the most important thing, but it's such a bad design choice and it's so freaking easy to fix. What possible purpose could it serve to make your players hit this over and over and over again when once would suffice? 

I mean, I'd get rid of it entirely and just have the era currency update automatically instead of making players click to acknowledge the rewards at all, but if you absolutely have to do it because you signed an iron-clad pact with the devil and spacetime will implode if you anger the Great Supernatural Evil Being, for the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster and all Holy Pirate Regalia, what the heck is wrong with just tapping the button once? 

I mentioned this when Eras first dropped and hoped it would be fixed for Era 2, but no. 

This is just pathetic.
