Not sure how you didn't see the numbers on each territory that said "0/4" and then, after you added a team "1/4". As Gifafi said, it's literally right there on the screen.

What he is communicating, is that when the back zone asks for 4 teams, it only does so with the single "fraction" location..in the corner of the screen. On the main screen, it only shows 2 empty circles...leading you to believe that only 2 squads are needed. This is especially confusing to players transitioning to division 5 since they are used to seeing 2 circles bc they only need 2 squads in that zone.

@Moonlight0911 I agree, I didn’t make this mistake but I hate a seemingly misleading UI. There should be 4 circles or the number of circles should equal how many teams need to be placed. Being creatures of habit, plus some being distracted with kids or other things it can be quite annoying.

I think it was clear enough, you just didn't notice. Don't blame them for not noticing something.

While it’s easy to say it’s the players fault, and that’s not exactly wrong, this happens all the time. If it’s so easy to make the mistake it should be changed.

Know what would be nice? In the Character Territory screen where it shows which squads you have set, if there was a placeholder for each squad, maybe say with empty portraits where units have not yet been assigned.
But instead we need to pay special attention to the fraction in the upper right and occasionally get burned because we didn't look close enough.

This does happen to people a lot. There probably isn’t enough real estate to show every team leader, especially in higher divisions. What they could do though, is reverse how the circles are filled. Make it so the circles are empty until the territory is filled. That would give people a visual cue (aside from the fraction) that the territory isn’t full.
