1. Reduce rewards, allows way more top finishes by my suggestions below and doesn't break the "economies"
2. Get rid of tiered rankings for awards. Keep the ranks and rank swapping just to keep more equal teams near each other but being a certain rank at a specific 1 second time means nothing for payout.
3. Make payout reward tiers equal to winning x number of arena battles between resets vs x ranked opponents. Example win 4 battles vs top 10 teams and you get maxed payout. Win 3 vs top 10 opponents you get next tier of payout.
Until they get rid of being a specific rank for that one moment in time lockouts will always be a part of arena.
