I agree that the Sith raid isn't fun. For the most part it is just throw out the squad and hit auto. Turn off auto when cooldown for annihilate is at 2. Hit the shield on the right toon at the right time. Rinse repeat until enrage.
You should be able to do more damage on manual, with proper strategy. If not, you need better team comps.
