It’s about time that this gets dialed down a notch, or raise those junk rewards on par with the difficulty of that mission. The rng in that is all over the place. You can 3* it one day, then never win...

This is a good strategy. I use veers in place of tarkin. But Palpatine pretty much kills Ezra before you get a move. So kill him off first —> deathmark Sabine and she’s done too. Then kill kman
I tried using g11 veers in for tarkin, but he couldn't hang. Subbed in g12 Starck and got the win but it was rough. Tarkin seems best for me. I have him modded for high potency which makes him easily survive their intitial onslaught, and his debuffs help the whole team stay alive.
I’m opposite , g12 veers but my g10 tarkin couldn’t cut it. Yours sounds easier
I think Tarkin is an underrated support toon. Mine is only g10 but I still use him in GAC and TW all the time. One of these days I'll finish him, stupid stun gun holds me up.
