The only reason I hate the acolyte is because it detracts and contradicts the larger Star Wars Universe. I’m not hating on the franchise, I’m hating on things that take away from it and make it worse.
Nothing get contradicted. The twins were created by a coven of Force Users, perhaps with some help from Darth Plagueis. Remember what Palpatine told Anakin in Episode III:
"He could even influence the midichlorians to create life"
