Time to "movie farm"
I think with first order tie pilot coming as login toon, we need to be ready for movie release content coming soon. Highly likely we will need resistance and first order teams at full 7* for new toons...

And somehow trying to cobble those and some pieces into a viable arena team.
For players that started around when I did (and that haven't been finishing in the top five in arena the entire time), some serious choices had to be made. I know, there's always a $olution to this particular problem, but each individual player's circumstance should be considered prior to making blanket statements about their preparedness or ability to plan.
