I think you've watched too many movies. Also, using the word retarded in any way other than as a verb is hateful, and I'm not sure how the filter lets it by. Similar to the "N word" nowadays in all honesty. Watch yourself, sooner or later you'll use it in front of the wrong guy, and he'll be bigger and stronger with fight training and an afflicted cousin or sibling. If you think about it the term American can be anyone from North or South America, but when you single out English speakers it almost sounds like your talking about the United States specifically. It's hypocritical to criticize someone for offending you when your generalizing them in the same manner
