I don’t believe the increased number of teams in GAC/TW makes a material difference to time requirement. Most of the time 1 additional battle is no more than 3 minutes, so it’s more than offset by AB being simmable.
However conquest is not a fun game mode.
I have gotten red crate hard, and I hated at least half the time spent to get there as it was nothing but a boring grind.
I will get red crate as long as I keep playing, since I want to keep up.
But as you say, it’s bad engagement, pushing me closer to uninstall every day.
