TW tie equals second place for both teams?

System is broken ATM: too many toons available on offense.
Something has to be changed to balance this point.

I agree with the sentiment. Maybe they should split the combined rewards. You could certainly collude to draw, nobody posts any defence - job done. Kind of takes the fun out of things but if people are obsessed about rewards and maxing stuff rather than playing (and recent DSTB seems to indicate that) then some may well do just that.

Completely agree.

Second place rewards for a draw is actually a negative incentive to participate in this new mode.

Why spend that time and energy to clear the board when we can set defenses and ignore it for the same gain?

Why even try to win if you get first place rewards? Just set weak defence teams and clear the whole map with your strongest teams. It's a foolproof system that allows both guilds to "win" every time, regardless of what the opponent's strategy is.
That said, i'm not liking the 2nd place rewards for both guilds in case of a draw either.

I think TW is a good concept. Only 2 days and is good fun as a guild to play together.

I'm saying, if there's a full defence and that full defence is totally beaten then a guild should be rewarded for its hard work rather than being forced to accept the same rewards as if they just put up 600 banners.

There should be some way to make sure colluders are avoided whilst still correctly rewarding hard work (as opposed to disincentivising the game play)

Yes, that needs to be looked at too. If the suggested way doesn't work then there needs to be a better way to make sure teams are aptly rewarded rather than the rewards making you feel like you shouldn't have bothered.

Really feels like wasted time. I could have done nothing and got the same reward.

This was not well designed.

Well, if they don’t fix the tie issue, I can see all the top guilds will setup a big rotation to decide who should win first without even trying any guildwide strategy:)

I suggest all leftover unused char’s GP should be used to break the tie.

This actually promotes colluding imo. If you're in the higher up brackets, good chance you're going to face the same guild more than once. Trading off wins is more beneficial to both guilds.
To be clear, i'm not saying you should do that, only that it's a possiblity that favours both guilds involved.
