Inspiration: Since Depa Billaba is seemingly confirmed as a new unit for Jedi Master Mace Windu, it is only fitting that her Padawan is added too.

Him being a Jedi Vanguard is taken from the 'Kanan: The Last Padawan' comic story, where he attempted to stop Rackham Sear from bombing the Jedi Temple.

Just like his master, Caleb Dume specialises in Form III lightsaber combat, Soresu. That, combined with the fact he survived Order 66, will naturally make him highly evasive.
