Other than the really expensive kyros and signal data I don’t see much for newer players.
Omicrons seem to be the best value.
You're forgetting how long it takes to get older conquest characters for newer players - this can supplement their conquest farms and speed that process up. It will add up and snow-ball over time.
Nah cause those are the most overpriced. If you have 1 GL why spend 4 months of this currency to get 8 Malgus shards if you are already getting 20 a month for free from proving grounds. 10 months of this currency is worth 2200 crystals there. That’s a poor trade off.
In terms of crystals per shard, it comes out to 1 shard for 125 crystals - as opposed to the conquest store where 1 shard = 120 crystals. If you factor in 'free' tokens from the first battle it's probably about even (or possibly cheaper), though I didn't do that math. Anyway, I don't see how that's overpriced or a poor trade off for someone that's rushing CAT for JMK or Malgus for Leviathan. For someone that's trying to unlock a conquest unit ASAP, that's on par with other sources. It may not be ideal for you, and that's fine, but objectively it's not a bad deal as compared to what's already available.
But also remember that this is currency that didn't exist yesterday - so from a certain perspective, anything you buy in this store is "free" in a sense, because it's not taking away from previously existing resources.
