I think this is good for new players to try and catch up for conquest and rewards top players for their investment in GLs.
I think there's a middle bracket of players who don't particularly need proving grounds or to catch up nor are they (self included) really at the omicron desperation stage. So will be interested to know how the value translates for signal pieces or Kyro, or if it will just be spending for the sake of it once the limit is hit.
My hope for newer players is that older conquest units will get more shards per currency as time goes on similarly to shipment rates. Otherwise 2-20 shards when you have say 15 characters to catch up is a drop in the ocean.
