Money. That's why. They want you to P2W, and that's the unfortunate truth.
That's not true, it's pay to make faster progress. OP want's to make faster progress / get new content but without paying when they can quite happily be f2p and gradually build.
And yes of course newer players have less resources, what's the issue with that? We all started at zero and in my case its taken me 5 years to get to a point where I can now go purely for new stuff.
Why on earth should newer f2p players not do the same? As it is the game is much more f2p friendly than when I and many other players started, with older characters easier to obtain and previous bottleneck resources available in abundance. Its absurd that OP and you don't seem to get that and want to be at a level to get new stuff without a) working for, or b) paying for it.
