Unpopular opinion

I really like ATF. I maxed her out on day 1 - but am still trying to find some utility with her beyond raids. It's been like a rubix cube in that respect ... she's an odd duck. I was hoping she'd be useful in arena under CLS ... and to a degree she is ... but something is just not quite there.

I mean .. if you don't care about defense, she can be a juggernaut in the following setups:

CLS, ATF, wiggs, GK ...

or I also did have fun using CLS, ATF, Sabine, Raid Han, GK

Check out this video using ATF in a Commander Luke team. There are several arena battles, but my favorite moment is at about the 4 min mark when Ahsoka totally jacks a Kenobi with full health, and I think about 2/3 protection. Han is deadly in his own, and provides her with lots of buffs. It makes me hope she isn't a single hard node farm.

Curious to know why you ranked ezra 10th. Coincedentilly i'm testing him in my 5th spot, it's either him, thrawn or leia. (luke, raid han, r2 and kenobi are the other 4)
About chaze, i agree. They're has beens, and i personally think they've been has beens for a while now. They still get the job done though, so i assume people who have them will continue using them.

Not everyone is a whale that can change teams overnight, players stuck with chaze will eventually drop below rank 100, booting all the zaul teams below 200, and so on so forth.

I'm not sure Zaul will go sub-200. If rebel teams make a comeback, especially under CLS, it could actually increase the Zaul activity. AoE Daze and dodge will still be a problem if those rebel teams don't run R2. Some of the meta CLS teams definitely don't run R2 either, so we'll have to wait and see. Overall the thing I love about CLS is that he's going to encourage more diversity in arena with more viable teams. It's not fun to push for top 10 arena finishes, but it's healthy for the game.

I like Chirrut passive heal and insane amount of HoT. It rewards fast teams and penalize fast opponent.

Maybe you guys are right, I guess I had my own unpopular opinion Lol. Going by my shard zaul is everywhere 200-100 and chaze hear and there. Top 100 is changing trends to the new rare toon meta teams. My zaul team is struggling anymore, I soon will zeta savage will hold out for a while till I build a new team. Used my omegas on ANH toons getting CLS, was worth it but sets me back a little.

@WompWompRat Have you tried CLS, ATF, R2, Leia, GK? Or potentially Han in for Leia if you want the additional 2 buffs. I feel like if you're going to be running Rebels you shouldn't be doing it without R2's utility and his zetas really stack up.

Personally I'm running CLS, R2, Leia, Chaze (Don't have GK yet 103/145) and it's been doing extremely well on my Dec. 2015 shard. R2 goes first, stealths all but baze. Leia goes next and gains offense up, foresight, crit damage up and 100% TM. Goes again and starts ripping through people. Then usually CLS goes and the team just wrecks. It's great. Hardest team I've had to face so far was CLS, Han, Leia, R2, GK. Haven't had any trouble with the CLS, Thrawn, DN, R2, GK teams as they just don't have the rebel synergy together like the new rebel rework teams do.

Ezra is a great option under both Luke and QGJ. He is really the main DPS for most Jedi squads right now and any Jedi Luke mash up squad will include him.

Honestly though this list basically breaks down into

1) best toon / leader
2) best followers for any squad
3) best followers for the current rebel meta
4) next best leader.

yea, now i have to seriously consider using my shard shop currency on her when the time comes. Thanks for that :p

@Vertigo that's a good recommendation. I've been playing around with a lot of combos but I do agree R2 is a must. The ATF teams I noted above were all just pretty much pure brute force offense with zero thoughts on defense lol ... fun to see the bone crunching hits, but def agree a really good CLS team with R2, Han and Leia has great potential if the speed is stacked properly.
