Because it's more healthy, balance-wise. I understand hard-to-get character should be powerful, but that doesn't mean they should actively seek to kill any counter with ultra-specific, ultra-targeted unique so there's no counter. They pretend to aim toward a rock-paper-scissor balance, they should act like it.
