hi all i am trying to evaluate how effective critical avoidance is? by rearranging mods on my shoretrooper, hp+prot/(1-armor) value may go up by like %5. But i have to give up %21 critical avoidan...

Critical avoidance on tanks Is a no brainer (outside maybe GK). You can see it like this you diminish by 24% crit chance. On many toons that is almost 50% less crit. Hence almost 1/3 less damage in expectation.
