Those increases of carbanti and syringes are close to nothing, in real terms. The need for them rose along with the increased drops.
Same thing will harken with the next increase - more gear required, bugger all increase in ways to get them.
Without new content (not new challenge levels - you just end up simming), a level increase is just an increase to the grind.
