Vet Han and Chewie
Why don’t Han and Chewie have the resistance tag along with R2-D2 and C3PO?

The tags are as much mechanic as lore, and are a snapshot. There are snapshots in Episode VII where you could say Han and Chewie are part of the Resistance. There are parts where you could say they're not. And they're tooled to not go with the Resistance.
