That's a perfectly fine way to play if it makes you happy. But, on the subject of this thread.... yeah, if you choose that, you are going to find yourself outclassed in many areas of the game including GW.
unfortunately i am finding that out now. im surprised they would make characters that are not viable to play in many aspects of the game.
for example, i go on pvp with my jawas (almost all 7 stars with lvl 8 gear) and cant beat someone that has 15000 less power because he has all 4/5 star sith.
most games make it so any character you choose will be viable in most if not all aspects of the game, this game it seems if you dont use very specific ones you are at a distinct disadvantage.
i started to play the game because of the ewoks, and paid money for the ewoks to get them. only to find that i cant improve the stars values without spending a lot more money, which i wont do. so then i leveled jawas because they are my 2nd favorite types of characters in star wars, only to find out now they are not viable in most aspects of the game too.
Then i thought droids, only to hear that they are at a disadvantage too. i do not want to and will never want to play as jedi/sith/han solo, so i am thinking it is only a matter of time before i get to the point that i cant succeed anymore and will ultimately stop playing. its a shame because i really enjoy playing this game and playing with the different unique characters that most games dont even have as playable races. it makes this game unique, but at the same time if 50% of the characters are just fodder to ignored, it really makes it cookie cutter like a lot of the other games.
