Community AdminWe are working on some solutions for that. EA Forums literally have millions of users and are read by players of all ages. People can do a lot of baaaaaad things with images, so we are working on a way to have image moderation/approval for this massive user base and the ability for you to have a custom avatar. This can take a bit, but it's most certainly a priority for us.
