How do you know that's not exactly what the boss asked for?
Doesn’t matter whose idea it was, it definitely lacks creativity. They also consider a title and a portrait “great rewards”, so maybe my expectations of them are a little too high.
The point is that if the boss asks you to deliver unoriginal content with bad rewards, and that's what you deliver, you've done your job.
