What does speed do?

There are toons that grant speed bonus, or gain bonus TM at the start of a battle.
For example Baze gains TM for each buff on an enemy. So if you have Cassian and Rebels and he grants them all buffs, the enemy Baze will go first even if you have like 260 speed, simply because he would have gained a lot of tm.

Tarkin/Lando/Ackbar, etc. give bonus speed to their faction. So this is another case.

Speed is the stat the attributes to how often your characters go, a lower speed character could go before your yoda if they have a leader that gives them more speed or if someone hit your yoda and removed turn meter.

But if you really want to know more about how speed works these guys at team instict did a pretty comprehensive overview of speed a long time ago.

Tons of tm manipulation in this game. Can't explain anything if you don't lay out the scenario though. Who else is on your team? What's the composition of the other team? Who's going before Yoda?

Turn meter hasn't filled to 1,000 in almost a year now. Please stop linking outdated guides.

It may not fill to 1000 anymore but speed still works the same way as explained, reguardless of what the speed fill number is now. since reading that post almost 2 years ago I have not been confused about speed and how it works. so instead of telling me to not link an old guild how bout you link an up to date guide instead? wouldnt that be more helpful?
