Where is the dev announcement stating that gw will now no longer be winnable. I got gk r2 showing up at node 6 wiping out a,b,and c teams. Really? Who's definition of fun is this? gk shouldn't even ...

Look at one of the more recent polls about GW. I think it's quite clear that the majority doesn't find it too hard. There's only appears to be boat loads of complaints because satisfied players don't make complaints. Just 1% of 200K players complaining about GW is still 2,000 players which is going to seem like a boatload.
And what do you mean listen to the one person who says they can beat it daily? There's a heck of a lot more than one person beating it daily. At any rate, the dev team has stated they are happy with the completion rate of GW. So yes they are keeping track of statistics, and they're happy with the current state.
