What is purpose of wait times after raid opens?

Is the purpose to say get on now it’s ready but wait for later time to auto. Or is it meant to give players time if they r late to attack a change for that?

Yeah that's ridiculous. If you want the damage to start later, adjust the raid launch time. Don't have a 24 hr join and THEN ask for more time with no damage. Officers need to launch raids properly & communicate clearly.
